Founder and curator 500ARTISTS

Hello!

My name is Tasha Lipnitskaya, and I am the founder and curator of the art project 500ARTISTS.
I will probably repeat myself, but this project is not just an exhibition, but a large-scale idea that unites artists from all over the world, creating a unique canvas of contemporary art. We collect 1,500 miniature paintings in three techniques - acrylic, oil and watercolor. Each work is a reflection of the style, skill and individuality of the artist.
Why is this important?
Because 500ARTISTS is a cross-section of world art, an opportunity to see how diverse, bold and multifaceted it can be. This is a chance for viewers, collectors and museums to discover new names and meet artists who may become future stars of the art scene. And also - this is a project that will live and develop before your eyes, gradually filling with new works, history and energy.

Who is this project for
500ARTISTS is open to artists at any stage of their creative path. Regardless of whether you are just starting to declare yourself or already have recognition - your individuality is important here. I want each painting in this project to become your calling card: a demonstration of technique, style, uniqueness and recognition.

For viewers and collectors, this project is an opportunity to follow the creation of unique canvases, become part of the art community and participate in the auction, where these large-scale works will be presented.

About me

I am a person who believes in dreams and is not afraid to go for big goals. As an artist, I know how difficult it is to find your audience, gain recognition and break into major venues. That is why I decided to create this project - to give other creators a chance to make a name for themselves.500ARTISTS is my first curatorial project, and despite the lack of specialized education, I am confident in its success. I am confident because I have invested everything in it: my knowledge, energy, passion and willingness to learn. I am not afraid of difficulties - I see growth in them. My goal is to make 500ARTISTS a significant milestone in the art world, a project that people will talk about, which will inspire and which will become a significant investment in the art world.

Where do I get my energy and inspiration

Behind every big project there is always support, and I am immensely grateful to the people who believe in me and inspire me to move forward. My inexhaustible source of energy is my husband Paul - a man who is always there for me, even when my ideas seem too bold. His faith in me and his support give me the strength to overcome any difficulties.Special thanks to my close friend Irina - a person who is always ready to listen, give honest advice and support in the most important moments. Her involvement and attention to detail help me see the project from different angles and find new solutions. It is thanks to such people that I continue to move forward, I am not afraid to dream and set large-scale goals for myself.

Let's chat!

I believe that a big project is built on trust and dialogue. So if you have questions, ideas or suggestions - write! I am open to communication and ready to talk about the project, about myself and about our plans.

Сo-curator 500ARTISTS

Hello!

My name is Irina Vanina, and I am the co-curator of the 500ARTISTS project.
While the project itself was born in the United States, my role is to mirror its development across the Atlantic — supporting its expansion into Europe and beyond. I’m also responsible for media outreach and building meaningful connections with artists, sponsors, patrons, and those who believe in the power of contemporary art.

Why does it matter?
500ARTISTS is more than a curatorial endeavor — it’s a monumental undertaking. We are collecting 1,500 miniature artworks, created in acrylic, oil, and watercolor, to form three massive canvases that will travel the world. But more importantly, we’re capturing the voice of a generation — bold, diverse, and honest. In this project, every artist is not only seen, but heard. And through this, we are building a living community of creators whose energy and perspectives define our time.

Who is this project for?
500ARTISTS is for ambitious artists — those who want to leave a mark, to be part of something bigger than themselves. It’s for people who are passionate about contemporary art and understand its power to connect, to challenge, and to inspire. And yes, it’s for collectors — those who are searching for the pulse of the moment, for future icons, and for artworks that speak louder together than they ever could alone.

About me

About Me
I am someone who believes that true creativity is born where depth meets clarity — and where every idea, no matter how bold, is grounded in meaning. With a background in international relations and law, I bring a strategic and thoughtful lens to every step of the 500ARTISTS journey. Precision matters to me, as much as freedom of expression does. I value structure, but I also thrive in the open space where art invites us to challenge norms, to rethink, to feel.

What drives me in this project is the belief that art still matters — deeply — even in a world reshaped by algorithms and digital acceleration. I see 500ARTISTS as a platform not only for contemporary voices but also for human connection, emotion, and legacy. It’s a place where the creative mind can speak — and be heard.

Where I Find Energy and Inspiration
My energy comes from shared vision — from the power of an idea that’s greater than the sum of its parts. I believe in team spirit, in doing things together, and in the magic that happens when everyone moves toward the same goal.

The 500ARTISTS project would not be what it is without the strong team behind it — and without the rare bond I share with Tasha. For over 30 years, our friendship has been a constant — built on trust, laughter, respect, and an uncanny ability to feel each other’s rhythm, even across oceans. We speak the same language without needing many words. And when challenges arise — as they always do in big ideas — we meet them head-on, side by side.

This project is more than work. It’s a mission. And I’m proud to walk this path with a team that believes in art, in each other, and in what we are creating — for today and for the future.

Director of Technical Operations and Logistics

Hello!

My name is Paul Lipnitski, and I am the Director of Technical Implementation and Logistics for the 500ARTISTS project.

For the past 16 years, Tasha and I have walked side by side — in life and now in this ambitious creative journey. My role within the project is to take the curatorial vision and turn it into a functional, physical reality. From building and assembling the large-scale canvases to managing materials, lighting, packaging, transport, and exhibition logistics — I oversee everything that makes the idea tangible and durable.

A project of this magnitude can’t rely on improvisation. It requires foresight, precision, and a deep understanding of how all systems — physical, logistical, and technical — interact. I am responsible for creating a stable infrastructure behind the scenes: organizing safe and efficient artwork delivery, building modular systems for display and storage, ensuring lighting solutions match exhibition standards, and supporting the technical side of each public event.

What becomes visible in 500ARTISTS — the final artworks, the installation, the atmosphere — all of that depends on a foundation that must be solid, well-built, and able to carry the weight of the project as it grows.

Why does it matter?
I believe that projects of this scale are never trivial. They demand not only logistical clarity but a sense of purpose. 500ARTISTS brings people together — artists, organizers, supporters — and gives them a common platform to create, connect, and be seen. And these people, through their collaboration and contribution, become a living record of the time we live in. That alone makes the effort more than worth it.

Who is this project for?
This project is for rising stars — for artists who are ready to be seen, who are done waiting, and who want to make their mark now.
500ARTISTS is not about hesitation or playing small. It’s for those who know they have something to say and are prepared to say it to the world — boldly, clearly, and without apology. If you’re ready to step forward, this is your stage.

About me

While I don’t create art myself, I believe in its power to document who we are. Art captures what words can’t — and gives form to things that matter.
I’m a pragmatist by nature, a realist in how I see the world — but even I know that without art, something essential is missing. It’s not just decoration — it’s meaning, memory, and identity.

500ARTISTS is more than a project. It’s a statement that art still defines our culture, our time, and the legacy we leave behind.

Where I Find Energy and Inspiration

My greatest inspiration is Tasha — the visionary heart of 500ARTISTS. Her ability to unite people, shape a complex idea into a powerful reality, and lead with clarity and strength is what anchors this entire project. Being her partner — in life and in this work — means building something meaningful together, with trust at its core and her creative drive setting the course for all of us.

I also draw strength from the team. In 500ARTISTS, we’re not just colleagues — we are a strong, cohesive unit, working with shared trust and mutual support. That foundation is what keeps us moving forward, even through challenges. When the idea is strong and the team is united, the work stops being a task — it becomes a mission.
